1. What are the assignment lengths?
The majority of Attentive Healthcare assignments are for 13 weeks. However, shorter and longer assignments are available as needed or by request.

2. Is it possible for a traveler to extend their assignment longer than the initial contract?
Yes, many of our travelers extend their assignments. A traveler can extend their assignment for any duration.

3. How long will it take to place a traveler in our position?
We have placed travelers as quickly as one day of request and as far out as four months before the actual start date. The placement time will depend largely on the demand of the specialty at time of request. The average time of placement from the time the request is submitted to the actual start of the assignment is from three to eight weeks.

4. Can we schedule travelers with our regular staff for the entire length of the assignment?
Yes. One of the many advantages of using a traveler is that they will become part of the regular team and work a full-time schedule.

5. Will Attentive Healthcare be responsible for workers' compensation insurance or will the hospital?
For travelers on Attentive Healthcare's payroll, we will be responsible for workers' compensation insurance and all employer related taxes and insurance. If the travelers are on the client facility's payroll, the client will be responsible for the taxes and insurance.

6. How much will it cost to contract a traveler through Attentive Healthcare?
Rates will vary depending on the type of health professional, contract option and the city or region where the traveler will be working. The travelers pay rate and local housing costs will be the main considerations in the cost determination. We will be able to quote you exact rates for the health professional at your facility.
